This is amazing. I would love to see more 3D art, especially in video games, adopt this sort of stylized appearance to it instead of aiming for Photorealistic. I find work like this more believable, and if well-animated it would steer well clear of the uncanny valley.
Hello BiGreek. I have been looking at your work for a quite a bit today and wish to ask you a favor. I am in charge of a gaming team of over 20. We are an online team currently developing a 3D MMO. We would really be grateful if you could come along and help us with some 3D modeling. We are all professionals which work in our free time as volunteers to this project. Our current site can be found here(not very well made) : [link] and our W.I.P site can be found here(much better): [link]
Thanks so much, Mendi Meyer The VisionXtream Team Leader email@example.com
this looks fantastic! i love the character in his weathered features. and. i LOVE the shading. may i ask how you shaded him? it looks painted - is it some zbrush material or a straight out zpaint? it looks like a very sensitive combination of cell shading and painterly textures. if you could explain i'd be very grateful.
the facial structure is just awesome, very very inspiring! i think you could or should have detatched the andes of the beard from the head, righnow they flow a bit too much into the prominent fold from the nostrils along side the lip muscles, it works great in the side view, but i guess it could look better in front when it breaks that flow.
Now that man speaks with a strong accent! No one gets lines in their face like that without contorting it to communicate every day of their life. I like the stylized look of him, especially the cheek bones and the chin.
